The SOLABLE Group is committed to promoting initiatives aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as working towards achieving these goals. About the SDGs
The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, serve as a set of guiding principles for corporate management. They consist of 17 goals and 169 targets aimed at addressing societal challenges and creating a brighter future for the world by the year 2030.
Sustainability Initiatives in Action
Contributing to CO2 reduction through forest management and the promotion of timber utilization.
Our Forest Solutions business got its start based on a grand vision of contributing to environmental conservation, disaster prevention, and measures against global warming, while simultaneously transforming Japan's underdeveloped forests into valuable assets. Here, we have built a "wood value chain" that covers everything from upstream to downstream operations throughout the entire group. Through activities such as forest maintenance to increase CO2 absorption and the supply and promotion of wood use in residential and non-residential construction, we seek to contribute to measures for mitigating climate change and fulfill our responsibility as a company that is dedicated to society. Domestically, we utilize the J-Credit Scheme for our work in forest maintenance and have obtained certification in the form of carbon credits through this program.
Contributing to an inclusive and decarbonized society through the use of technological innovation.
The Technology Solutions business developed by the SOLABLE Group covers a wide range of fields.
We contribute to the creation of inclusive, safe, and secure communities that work to eliminate regional technological disparities by providing remote monitoring and technical support from experts in various fields using IoT and ICT technologies.
In our research and development of next-generation flexible solar panels, we are particularly focused on the mobility sector, which requires significant reduction in CO2 emissions. Here, we strive to commercialize products in order to bring about a transformation in the energy supply for next-generation mobility, such as the electric vehicles and aircraft that will further reduce CO2 emissions.
In communities undergoing significant change due to technological innovations, we promise to contribute to the reduction and restriction of greenhouse gas emissions, while supporting the evolving lifestyles of a new era based on various novel approaches.

As part of our health management program, SOLABLE not only offers flexible work arrangements, but also sponsors and donates to various events.
SOLABLE sponsors the Marugame International Half Marathon in Kagawa Prefecture, the birthplace of the company's founder, and encourages the participation of group employees in this event. Organization of the marathon involves significant participation from the local community, including support from transportation and accommodation facilities in the area. Through our sponsorship of the marathon, we work to revitalize the local economy and promote interaction with local residents, while supporting the health and growth of our employees.
